meet shenée simon

Shenée Simon is the Principal Consultant, dedicated to equitable and inclusive practices.  In 2017 Shenée decided to strike out on her own after 18 years of contributing to teams and volunteering as a board member both nationally and locally in the nonprofit sector. Her goal from the start was and remains equity and inclusion for all people.

About shenée

Shenée, an Independent Researcher and visionary, brings high energy and strategic thinking for the inclusion of girls/women and girls/women of color across communities and borders with a deep commitment for peace, safety and security in spaces of  living, learning, work, play and praying. She has  authored initiatives and policies, created programming centering gender equity and social systems in urban, suburban and rural Virginia, Florida-Orlando, Miami and South Texas. Her personal belief for building peace, collaboration and transformation is "triad transcending engagement” locally, nationally and globally.

 

She lives out her triad transcending engagement model through service with the Working Group on Girls (Co-Chair & Secretary); United State of Women Ambassador (TN); National Women’s Studies Association (Pop Culture Interest Group Co-Founder).  Shenée is a Virginia native and currently calls Kissimmee, FL home with her husband and their two daughters and two sons, proud homeschooling Army family!

Shenée is pursuing her Doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution (Nova Southeastern University).  She holds a M.A. in Women and Gender Studies, M.A. in Human Resources Management and Nonprofit Management (Rollins College), a graduate certificate in Public Leadership in conjunction with Elected Officials Protecting America (University of San Francisco). and B.A. in Women's Studies and Leadership Studies (University of Richmond).  She is conversant in French.
